Some women wait; others decide and build. In this LaGrace Podcast, personal-growth mentor and brand strategist Sevda Mammadova, better known as Sevas Boss, talks not about luck but about standards, choices and real results, starting from the idea that a strong woman isn't born, she's assembled brick by brick from her own decisions.

It's a candid, unsentimental conversation about trading motivation for a system, counting attempts instead of talent, the fear of being seen that holds most women back, running a business with feminine energy, and protecting your own peace over the spotlight.

Key takeaways
01

Consistency beats motivation

Motivation lifts you for a moment, most people last about three days. What actually builds a life is durability: showing up even when it feels pointless. She stopped relying on motivation and leaned on staying power instead.

02

Success is the number of attempts

Her Ronaldo credo: not specially gifted, just tries the shot 100 or 200 times. Sent six CVs and gave up? You needed to send 150. Knock on enough doors and one opens, the count changes the odds.

03

You can't outrun yourself

“I'll fix everything by leaving” is an illusion, you carry yourself in the luggage. In Warsaw she was still Sevda, not a new person. Geography is destiny, but the real work is internal, and she chose to stay herself.

04

Being visible beats being qualified

The most common problem women bring her is the fear of being seen. A less-qualified but visible woman out-earns one with three diplomas who stays silent. Courage to take up space is, for now, the real currency.

05

Standing apart is a strength

No herd instinct, she never fit a group and spent years thinking something was missing in her. Only later did she see that the very thing that kept her on the edge was her edge.

06

Change with strategy, not war

To shift a family's or partner's mind, don't grab them by the collar after one session. Move quietly, show it by living better, “dig the tunnel.” The aim is to find yourself, not to flee.

07

Personal brand is the new currency

Branding became personal brand: a name and a point of view you can later sell across products and services. Like the big brands, you're selling a feeling and a style, not just a thing.

08

Protect your peace over the spotlight

She'd rather be needed at home than everyone's favourite in every room. Family is her “small homeland,” the partner relationship her most important project, and it takes constant, deliberate work.

In practice
  • Trade motivation for a system: on empty days, drop the aesthetic ideal and just do the necessary thing. “Skip” the mood, don't romanticize burnout.
  • Count attempts, not talent: send 100 CVs, not 6; knock on every door. The number of tries changes the odds.
  • Make yourself visible: say “I want this” out loud, in your family and your field. The visible woman is the one who gets chosen.
  • Get the business hierarchy right: personal brand and marketing strategy come first, SMM is third. SMM isn't just boosting a post.
  • Befriend the new tools, AI, marketing, sales, IT. A stable “currency” is your own skill and income, learnable in any field.
Success isn't about talent, it's the number of my attempts.
You don't pack your problems in your luggage, you carry them inside yourself.
Geography is destiny.
The visible one, the one whose voice is heard, will always be ahead.
