5 steps to manage your eating through the day
Most eating chaos is schedule chaos. Five structural moves that make food decisions almost automatic.

The women I work with rarely have a knowledge problem — they have a 14-hour day. Managing food is mostly managing structure, so the right choice happens even on the wrong day:
- Fix the anchors. Three meals at roughly fixed times beats six improvised decisions — every decision you don't make is willpower saved.
- Front-load protein. A real breakfast with protein quiets the whole day's snacking; a coffee-only morning orders the 17:00 chaos in advance.
- Plan the gap. If lunch-to-dinner is longer than five hours, decide the snack in the morning — nuts, yoghurt, fruit — before hunger decides for you.
- Make water visible. A bottle on the desk gets drunk; a glass in the kitchen gets forgotten.
- Close the kitchen. A simple evening ritual — herbal tea, lights lower — tells the body the eating day is over. Most 'evening hunger' is just an open kitchen.
Structure is not rigidity: it is the frame that makes flexibility safe. Build the frame once, and the day stops being a hundred small battles.
