Lately we explain everything with “energy”, and that raises a question: does it strengthen a woman, or excuse her from responsibility? In this LaGrace Podcast, energy therapist Sona Şıxməmmədova shares her own faith-and-energy framework, and lands on a firm line: raw energy is only a rough diamond; it becomes power through conscious choice, awareness and responsibility, never by blaming your life on “energy” alone.

It's a deep, personal conversation, held within her own beliefs, about spiritual manipulation and how to spot it, why dependency grows when your inner anchor weakens, the difference she feels between prayer and meditation, and why the way through emptiness is to stop running from it.

Key takeaways
01

Power begins with responsibility, not just energy

Raw energy, she says, is a rough diamond, in the wrong hands it's wasted; worked with skill, it becomes a brilliant. A woman's energy turns into power only when she joins it to awareness, conscious choice and responsibility.

02

Don't blame everything on “energy”

“That's just my energy” can become an escape from responsibility, victim psychology. Everyone carries trauma; the healthier move is to own it first, then use your energy to heal it and redirect your life.

03

Spot spiritual manipulation early

Where there's manipulation in this field, she says, there's ignorance behind it, no questioning. Her tells: power loaded onto objects, “help” from unnamed forces, promises through fear, and anything that leaves you dependent.

04

Dependency grows when your anchor weakens

Women slip into spiritual dependency when they drift from their own inner source and faith. A strong inner anchor is what keeps you from outsourcing your power to people or objects.

05

Break the ego, protect your energy

She teaches students to set the ego aside and guard their energy before any technique. The “I'm the saviour, I must save everyone” impulse scatters your energy; the task isn't to spend it, but to protect it.

06

Prayer and therapy aren't rivals

“A praying woman doesn't need therapy” is a myth, she says. The subconscious formed between 0 and 8 can't be cleared by prayer alone; it needs confrontation, which happens in therapy. Her own turnaround combined therapy, breathwork and meditation.

07

Don't run from the emptiness

The void, the grief, the confrontation, is exactly what people flee, and the more you run, the more you need it. The way through is to sit with it, ask what's missing, and keep going with consistency and discipline; one session won't do it.

08

A strong woman lets herself cry

Crying, she says, is one of the great strengths given to women, a release, not weakness. Women express feeling in the moment and let it out in tears, one reason, she notes, their lives tend to run longer than men's.

In practice
  • Take ownership before energy work: name the trauma and own it, then use practices like meditation and breathwork to heal it and redirect your life.
  • Vet who you take spiritual “help” from: be wary of anyone who loads power onto objects, promises through fear, or leaves you dependent. Your only anchor is your own inner source.
  • Break the “I must save everyone” ego and protect your energy; scattering it uncontrollably is what drains you.
  • Don't run from the void, sit with it in a quiet meditation, ask “what's missing?”, and keep at it; the answers come with repetition, not in one sitting.
